Non Bake Chalvas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup olive oil 
  • 4 cups sugar 
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1lt water
  • 500 grams semolina 
  • cinnamon 
  • ½ cup chopped almonds

Preparation

  1. Bring water to a boil, add sugar and stir until it thickens. In frying pan pre heat olive oil and add semolina stirring until it turns light brown.
  2. Add the sugar, orange juice, water and keep mixing.
  3. Add almonds, stir and pour into jellopan.
  4. Let cool, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
